Tajo for Shopify stores
In short: a sync rule copies your Shopify customers into Brevo contacts, but only the ones who said yes to email marketing. It refreshes every 15 minutes. Six agents build it, run it, and draft what you send to the people on it. You approve the rule before it goes live, and every send an agent schedules.
The sync

| last_name | LASTNAME |
| phone | PHONE |
| total_spent | TOTAL_SPENT |
| orders_count | ORDERS_COUNT |

Who gets through. Tajo reads Shopify’s own consent field for each customer. A customer whose email marketing state is subscribed gets through. On older records, accepts_marketing: true counts. A customer who unsubscribed, was redacted or has an invalid address is marked suppressed and stays out. A customer with no email stays out too. This filter is what lets the rule publish: Tajo refuses to publish a contact sync to Brevo without it.
How fresh. Shopify’s customer webhooks keep Tajo’s copy current between runs. Tajo checks every minute for contact syncs that are due and runs each one at most every 15 minutes.
The rule is ready-made. It is the one Brevo contact rule in Tajo that publishes exactly as shipped, with no edits.
The team on a Shopify sync
| Agent | What it does here | Waits for you on |
|---|---|---|
| Brevo Integration Architect | Starts from the ready-made rule, samples your customers, shows the field map, dry-runs it and saves a draft | Publishing the rule |
| Sync Operator | Runs the rule on request. A backfill can take up to 50 batches per run instead of the default 5 | Nothing. It runs rules you already approved |
| Segment Builder | Builds lists from synced contacts, such as everyone who opted in to email | Nothing. A list sends nothing |
| Engagement Designer | Drafts the email or SMS for a list | Sending. It has no send tool; a draft goes out only as a send you approve |
| Compliance Reviewer | Checks a draft for consent, unsubscribe and sender-domain problems | Nothing. It reports, you decide |
| Performance Analyst | Reads opens, clicks, unsubscribes and segment health for up to 90 days and writes recommendations | Acting on them |
Tajo 101 covers each agent and the gates in full.
Routines
- The sync itself: every 15 minutes per active rule, no routine needed.
- Anything else you ask on a schedule runs as a routine at 09:00 UTC on the day you name, or hourly if you ask for that.
Caution
Coming:
- Shopify orders into Brevo as events and orders. The rule has been drafted but is not offered yet.
- Routines started by a Shopify event, such as a new order. Today routines run on a schedule only.
Prompts that work today
- “Set up the Shopify customers to Brevo contacts sync. Show me the field map and a dry run, then ask me to approve it.”
- “Backfill the Shopify customers sync now and tell me how many records loaded and how many failed.”
- “Make a list of synced contacts who opted in to email.”
- “Draft a welcome email for that list and schedule the send. I’ll approve it.”
- “Every Monday, review last week’s email results and tell me what to change.”
